Glenfin Ladies were dominant in winning the Tír Chonaill Gulf Games tournament in Dubai on Saturday.
The Donegal champions showed their class through the tournament, hosted by the Donegal Dubai GAA club, beating a youthful St Eunan’s side in the final.
Glenfin won well with strong performances from Yvonne Bonner and Karen Guthrie. Glenfin native Mari Herron, who was playing with Kerry Middle East, put back on the Glenfin jersey for the final and got the last goal of the game.
The Páirc Taobhoige ladies beat Sharjah Gaels in the semi-final, while St Eunan’s overcame Kerry Middle East to reach the decider.
“We had such a fantastic day with some fantastic performances on display,” a spokesperson for Donegal Dubai said.
“It’s great to see the players within our county and the talent that all ladies showed. All games were played in a fantastic manner and spirit.
