4: Jason McGee remaining fit and involved from the off will be vital if Donegal are to not just hold onto their Anglo Celt crown but also make another real splash in the All-Ireland series. McGee was one of, if not the team’s best player, in McGuinness’ first season back as they lifted the Ulster title. However, a troublesome hip issue flared up once more in the subsequent All-Ireland series clash with Clare. And truth be told, he has struggled to get back up to speed ever since.  But McGuinness says the big Falcarragh man is pain-free for the first time in a long time and got a full pre-season under his belt with no reaction. A fully firing McGee would add real presence around a middle third that Kerry really targeted in the first-half of the All-Ireland final.
