The Donegal representatives at the Ulster PPS All-Star Awards
Seven Donegal players received awards at the Ulster Ladies All-Star Awards banquet in Canavan’s on Friday night.
Thirty players from 23 schools and at least one from all nine counties were included in the team, with Donegal the best-represented county with seven players.
St Columba’s Comprehensive, Glenties students Aoife McDermott (Naomh Conaill), Ava Caulfield (Dungloe) and Ríonach Doherty (Ardara) were all selected, along with Florence Naughton (St Naul’s and Abbey Vocational School), Meave Brady (Termon and Loreto, Milford), Chloe Costello (Naomh Pádraig Uisce Chaoin and Crana College), and Katie McGowan (Aodh Ruadh and Coláiste Cholmcille) were all selected.

Initially, 170 players were selected by their schools and, after two rounds of trials, the final 30 were named.
