Darragh is welcomed to Setanta and Markievicz on his county-wide trip
Setanta Hurling Club and Markievicz Camogie Club were pleased to welcome Donegal superfan Darragh Crawford as part of his ongoing journey to visit every GAA club across the county.
During his visit, Darragh was given a tour of the club grounds, where he met players and committee members from both Setanta and Markievicz and learned more about the history and achievements of the two clubs.
In recognition of his dedication as a GAA supporter, he was presented with a hurl on behalf of Setanta, club gear on behalf of Markievicz, and a referees’ pack from Ciaran O’Neill on behalf of the hurling referees.
While at the club, Darragh also had the opportunity to lift the ‘Corn na Mumhan’, with Setanta proudly holding the title of Donegal Senior Hurling Champions, as well as the Donegal Senior Camogie Championship cup secured by Markievicz.
