James O’Donoghue and Paddy Andrews are huge fans of Donegal ace Conor O’Donnell. 

The All-Ireland winners with Kerry and Dublin host the very popular Football Podcast and after O’Donnell’s 1-4 against Mayo last time out, have labelled the Carndonagh man the form player in the NFL so far.

“Conor O’Donnell gets man of the match," O'Donoghue starts. "I want to talk about Conor O’Donnell. He is a super, super player. 

“His position to shot ratio could get to one for one. He gets a shot off in a phonebox. He has all the jinks. 

“He can punt it over, outside of the boot it over, hook it over. All off both legs. 

“What he needs now is to be a selfish, ruthless scoring machine. He can be that. When Donegal get the ball into his hands, it’s almost a shot at the posts at this stage. He’s so sharp and so hard to mark”. 

Andrews added: “He’s been the form player of the league so far. To have the season this lad had last season, he seems to be going up a level this time out”.
