Mark Anthony McGinley denies Sean Cavanagh during the 2016 Ulster SFC final

McGinley is also a former League of Ireland goalkeeper having turned out for both Finn Harps and UCD in the past.
More recently, he’s been between the posts with Donegal League Premier Division champions Letterkenny Rovers.
With Jim McGuinness explaining last week that first-choice stopper Shaun Patton will remain absent for the next number of weeks, McGinley will most likely deputise for Gavin Mulreany in between.
Gaoth Dobhair’s Padraig Mac Giolla Bhride has acted as second choice to the St Naul’s man throughout the NFL so far but with preparations for the U-20 season about to ramp up, his complete attention will need to switch there from here on in.
Donegal currently lead the way in Division 1 of the NFL and will look to make it five wins from five when they host the Tribesmen in Ballyshannon on Sunday.
