Michael Langan and Shane O'Donnell are Donegal's joint captains for 2026
Donegal have named their team to take on Monaghan in the last series of fixtures in the National Football League Division 1, with Sean Martin in from the off.
The MacCumhaill's clubman, who is named at wing-back and is in line for a first-ever league start, was captain of the Donegal U-20 team for the 2025 season, where they reached the Ulster final before losing to eventual all-Ireland champions Tyrone in extra-time.

Donegal have also named their joint-captains for the season, with Michael Langan and Shane O'Donnell the ones honoured.

Donegal know a win at St Tiernach's Park will seal a place in the Division 1 final, where they will be joined by All-Ireland champions Kerry, should they defeat Armagh away. If the Kingdom don't, it will open the door for either Mayo or Roscommon, who meet in Castlebar. Dublin also travel to Galway, with all four games being played simultaneously from 3:30pm
