Ardara took advantage of the wind and rain in the opening half to lead by 0-8 to 0-1 at the break but they needed a goal from substitute Shane Sweeney in the second half to clinch the points in this Division 2 encounter at Pearse Memorial Park on Saturday evening.

Seamus Houghton was the Malin goalscorer.
