O'Donnell Park, Letterkenny is set to play host to Donegal's Ulster SFC clash with Down
Donegal GAA say they still aren’t able to confirm the number of tickets that will be made available to clubs for their Ulster SFC opener with Down in Letterkenny.
Jim McGuinness’ side take on the Mounre County in Letterkenny on Sunday week at O’Donnell Park.
With redevelopment works being carried out at MacCumhaill Park, there will be a significant reduction in capacity from 18,000 down to 9,000 for the April 26 encounter.
With season ticket holders and club members still wondering how tickets will be distributed for the eagerly anticipated clash, Donegal GAA released the following statement on Tuesday afternoon.
“All current season ticket holders should have received an email last Friday confirming that the window to purchase opens at 12 noon on Wednesday.
“Tickets for the Dr James McDaid stand are limited and will therefore be available on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. All other tickets available for purchase will be standing.
*We are currently unable to confirm the allowance of tickets per club; however, it is hoped we will be able to do so by the end of this week.
“Communication will issue re this to club secretaries ASAP”.
