Niall O'Donnell hit ten points for St Eunan's
Glenfin 1-7
St Eunan’s 0-20
St Eunan’s produced a commanding second-half display to secure a convincing 0-20 to 1-7 victory away to Glenfin in Division 1 of the All-County League in Páirc Taobhoige.
After a relatively even opening, the visitors’ superior scoring power and control after the break proved decisive.
Glenfin started well and edged ahead early on, with Luke McGlynn opening their account. St Eunan’s responded through points from Noah Barrett, James Kelly, and Pauric Boyle, while Niall O’Donnell began to influence matters in response to a Seaghan McCormick point.
A key moment arrived when Glenfin were awarded a penalty after a high challenge, which McGlynn calmly converted to the net.
The sides were level at different stages, with Shaun Ward and Daniel Marley contributing key scores for Glenfin, while Boyle and a trio of O’Donnell points kept the Letterkenny side ticking over.
St Eunan’s finished the half strongly, and led by 0-9 to 1-5 at the break, but they dominated the second half.
Marley did get the first score after the restart for the hosts, but former county star O’Donnell added three points from frees, including one outside the arc, while Dylan Doogan also split the posts twice from play as they began to pull clear.
Glenfin had a glimmer of hope in getting back into the contest as they received a second penalty, but McGlynn couldn’t find a way past Ronan McGeehin, who saved well.

Their defensive structure tightened, limiting Glenfin’s scoring opportunities, while their attack became increasingly efficient
O’Donnell kicked another two-point free after a brace of Jordan O’Dowd scores, and Oisin Scanlon also contributed.
Odhran McGlynn got a final score of the game for Glenfin, but the scoring was fittingly ended by O’Donnell, ending with a tally of ten points.
Glenfin struggled to maintain their early momentum, with only sporadic scores after the break. St Eunan’s controlled possession and closed out the game comfortably, sealing an impressive away win.
