Donegal featured five debutants against Monaghan - here they are

In their second Dr McKenna Cup match of the campaign against Monaghan on Tuesday night, Donegal manager Paddy Carr gave five new players their first taste of competitive action - Gavin Mulreany, Kealan Dunleavy, Gary McFadden, Philip Doherty and Kieran Tobin

Kieran Tobin (St Eunan’s)
Made his first appearance on Wednesday on the day of his 21st birthday, Tobin, who operates mainly in the half-back line, was a Donegal SFC and U-21A Championship winner with St Eunan’s in 2021 and last year skippered Donegal U-20s to the Leo Murphy Cup, defeating Tyrone in the final. A third year student at ATU Donegal, where he is in the Sigerson team and studies Business Studies.
