UL are into the Sigerson Cup Final for the second year running after a stunning performance saw them to a 3-12 to 0-12 victory over DCU at Netwatch Cullen Park.

Last year's beaten finalists were the better side for large periods of the game and never looked back after Clare's Ciarán Downes' goal put them 1-4 to 0-4 up after 17 minutes and 1-7 to o-4 at half-time. Further goals in the second half by another Clare native, Aaron Griffin, and Mayo's Eoghan McLaughlin followed for the Declan Brouder managed team who now play the final next week in Waterford.

DCU started with Termon's Jamie Grant and Shane O'Donnell from St Eunan's, while Oisin Gallen came off the bench on 28 minutes to score five points - four from play - whilst Downings' Johnny McGroddy was a second-half point-scorer and Glenfin's Ross Marley was a last minute replacement.
