Donegal learn their All-Ireland SFC round-robin last 16 opponents

Donegal will open their round robin last 16 stage for the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship away to whoever loses the Munster SFC and are guaranteed two fixtures against Ulster teams - one of which is definitely Monaghan

Aidan O’Rourke’s side were drawn against the provincial runners-up of Munster, the Ulster champions and Monaghan in Group 4. The Munster final will be contested between Kerry and Clare, while Derry and Armagh face-off in the Ulster decider.

Donegal’s second outing will take place at home to the Ulster champions and in a group guaranteed three Ulster sides, then face Monaghan at a neutral venue/

The winners of the four groups qualify for the All-Ireland quarter-finals, with the teams who finish second taking on the sides who come third in a play-off round to reach the last eight.
