Buncrana too strong for injury ravaged  Naomh Brid 

Buncrana were too strong for Naomh Brid.

Darach O’Connor and John Campbell scored the goals as Buncrana ran out big winners against and understrength  Naomh Brid, at the Scarvey, on Saturday evening. 

Buncrana 3-11 Naomh Brid 0-6

Former Donegal star O’Connor bagged two of the goals and Campbell netted the other one while Campbell also kicked four points and O’Connor one. 

Midfielder Eoin Rushe top scored for Naomh Brid who are plagued with injuries and were short up to six regulars for their trip north to Buncrana. 

Callum Gallagher, Eoin Quinn, Damian Cleary, Ryan Brogan, Sean Gormley, and Clint Walsh are the players all on the Naomh Brid treatment table at present.

The win was Buncrana’s fourth win in five outings and keeps them very much in the mix for promotion to Division 1 of the ACL.

Naomh Brid who were promoted from Division 3 last season are finding the going very tough in what is a very competitive division. They are one of three teams along with Letterkenny Gaels, last season junior champions, Naomh Muire, Lower Rosses, still searching for their first win.
