The process to fill the vacant Donegal Senior Team Manager position has commenced with the issue of a press release by the Donegal GAA today seeking applications for the post.
The vacancy arose with Aidan O'Rourke stepping down from the post after Donegal's season came to an end with defeat to Tyrone on Saturday last in MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey.
The Donegal GAA chairman, Fergus McGee, said this week that filling the post as quickly as possible was of the utmost importance for the county.
The text of the press release today from the Donegal GAA reads:
DONEGAL SENIOR TEAM MANAGER
CLG Dhún na nGall are now inviting expressions of interest from potential candidates, interested in becoming the next Dún na nGall GAA Senior Football Team Manager.
The closing date for expressions is 5.00pm on Friday the 21st of July, 2023. Expressions of interest should be sent by email only to secretary.donegal@gaa.ie.
Enquiries beyond the deadline may be declined.
It also lies within the remit of the Coiste CLG Dhún na nGall to identify potential candidates for this role.
