Donegal's third Ulster title in 1983 came 40 years ago this month

We look back at Donegal's victory over Cavan in 1983 which saw Seamus Bonar become the first Donegal player to win three Ulster senior medals. We also look at where the participants ended up

Aged 26. Half-back. Made his first senior appearance for Donegal in October 1974. Won McKenna Cup medal in 1975, Donegal SFC medal in 1977, four Sigerson Cup medals and All-Ireland club championship medal  with UCD. Teacher in Greendale Community School where Antoin Carroll is Principal.

Returned to live and work in Finance in Donegal. Still living in Ballybofey.
