Conor Cunningham spent two years in charge at Towney
Kilcar have confimed Conor Cunningham and his management team have stepped aside.
Cunningham was in charge in Towney for both the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Last year they were defeated by St Eunan’s in the semi-final of the Donegal SFC and this year they lost out to eventual champions Naomh Conaill in the last eight.
Barry O'Hagan, an All-Ireland winner with Armagh in 2002, was part of Cunningham’s backroom team.
“CLG Chill Chartha would like to thank Connor Cunningham, Barry O'Hagan and their backroom team who have stepped down from their senior football management team roles for the 2024 season,” a club statement.
“A huge thank you for the commitment and effort shown by the management team over the past two years. Thanks for guiding the team to another Division 1 league title in 2022 and continuing to maintain high standards within the club. We would like to wish Conor, Barry and the rest of the backroom team all the best in whatever they choose to do in 2024.”
