Leitrim ran out winners against a London side with a sprinkling of Donegal involvement in the Allianz League Division 4 at Avant Money Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada on Sunday.

The home team ran out winners on a scoreline of 1-8 to 0-6, with Darragh Rooney man of the match again and a first-half goal from Ryan O'Rourke proving crucial.

North London Shamrocks duo Patrick Dolan, formerly St Mary's Convoy, and Daniel Clarke, Naomh Colmcille, lined up in the half-forward line, with Dolan kicking two points. Their clubmate in London, Ciaran Diver from Moville, was a second-half substitute. Michael Miller, who played for St Eunan's and Nathan McElwaine, Termon, were among the substitutes.

London lost their opening fixture 1-13 to 1-9 against Wexford and Donegal's 2012 All-Ireland winning sub goalkeeper Michael Boyle is the team coach.
