In Pictures: Donegal's seven promotions to Division 1 over last 36 years

On Saturday last in Netwatch Cullen Park, Carlow, Donegal won promotion to Division 1 for the 7th time - the first coming under the guidance of Tom Conaghan in the 1987/88 season.

Donegal had a very comfortable passage back to Division 1 with a 1-20 to 0-10 win over Kildare in Ballyshannon. They  led 0-13 to 0-1 at the break with eight different scorers. Young players Oisin Gallen and Niall O’Donnell impressed with Gallen named man of the match.
