Sunday's Div 2 final against Armagh will be Donegal's ninth League final. They have won three and lost five

Donegal 0-17, Louth 3-8
Down by seven points at the break, Donegal made a spectacular second half comeback, inspired by Adrian Sweeney, to get a draw and they could have taken the honours in added time. With the lead cut to the minimum, a third Louth goal in the 57th minute knocked Donegal back. But they came again and Michael Doherty saw a goal effort come back off a post, but he then hit the equaliser and almost won it in the 71st minute

Donegal 1-9, Louth 1-12
Louth led by 1-6 to 1-5 at the break but had learned lessons from the first game and didn't allow Donegal back into the contest this time. They hit three quick points to extend the lead to four by the 40th minute and even though Donegal got back within a point, they lost Paddy Campbell to a red card as Louth held on.
