Killybegs notched their second win in the All County League Division 2 with a narrow victory at home against Cloughaneely in Fintra.

In a game of two halves, Killybegs had the substantial breeze  in their backs in the opening half and with Jack  McSharry and Ryan Cunningham in scoring form, they built up a six point lead at the break as they led 0-7 to 0-1.

They had to withstand a second half comeback from Cloughaneely, who were helped by a Blake McGarvey goal, but the visitors were not able to close the gap and Killybegs held on.

Killybegs scorers: Jack McSharry, Ryan Cunningham 0-3 each; Ross Conneely, Christopher Mulligan, Donal McGuire 0-1 each.

Cloughaneely scorers: Blake McGarvey 1-1, Shaun Curran 0-1f, John Fitzgerald 0-1, Pádraig Coyle 0-1.
