John Ross Molloy back in Ardara colours against Dungloe
Ardara 3-5
Dungloe 1-11
Ardara had an up and down day at home to Dungloe in Pearse Park. They led by 2-2 to 0-2 after 18 minutes but did not score again for 31 minutes.
They then came back in the second half to go ahead with five minutes left only for Ryan Connors to snatch a draw for Dungloe.
Paul Walsh had Ardara on the board on three minutes and John Ross Molloy, released to play club football, went straight through the Dungloe defence to find the net.
Ryan Connors and Conor Diver had Dungloe points to one from Paddy McGrath before the second Ardara goal when Paul Walsh was pulled down for a penalty and Johnny McHugh found the net.
But then Dungloe reeled off seven points before half-time from Ryan Connors (free), Daire Gallagher, three frees and one from play, Ethan McCafferty and a Conor Greene mark.
Half-time: Ardara 2-2, Dungloe 0-9.
Matthew Ward increased the Dungloe lead before Paul Walsh got the Ardara side of the scoreboard ticking again on 43 minutes.
But Dungloe responded with Dylan Sweeney going through the middle to find the net. Niall McCrossan rattled the Dungloe crossbar before finding the range from a free.
Then after a goalmouth scramble McCrossan found the Dungloe net on 50 minutes to level the game, 3-4 to 1-10.
In a frantic last 10 minutes Kevin Whyte put Ardara ahead only for Ryan Connors to level matters for the last time. Dungloe finished with 14 after Chris Boyle was shown red in the final minutes while Conor Diver also spent 10 minutes on the sideline early in the half for a black card.
