Three talented Donegal players have been honored with selection for the prestigious Ulster GAA U-15 (2009) Academy.

Mark Wilkinson of Red Hughs, Ronan O'Donnell from CLG An Clochán Liath, and Mark Anthony McGuinness of Naomh Micheál have been recognised for their exceptional skills and dedication to the sport.

In addition to their academy selection, these three players were key in the Donegal U-15's academy team that triumphed in the McLernon Cup last Saturday.

O’Donnell played in nets, Wilkinson took up the full-back position, while McGuinness played in the forward line.

McGuinness also struck the first goal five minutes into the second half as Donegal captured their victory in what was 3-10 to 1-10 win against Down in the U-15 final.
