Donegal captain Patrick McBrearty lifts the Anglo Celt Cup last May
The draws for the 2025 provincial football championships will take place this Saturday, October 12.
Donegal could potentially begin their defence of the Ulster title in the preliminary round. Jim McGuinness's team is one of five counties that might have to take the longer route back to the provincial final.
The other four counties in contention for the preliminary round are Tyrone, Derry, Down, and Fermanagh.
Armagh, who competed in the preliminary round last year, will bypass it this time and advance straight to the quarter-final section, as reigning All-Ireland champions.
In Connacht, All-Ireland runners-up Galway will start their title defence away to New York in the preliminary round, while Roscommon will face London in their quarter-final fixture.
In Munster, both Clare and Kerry have secured byes into the semi-finals, where they could face each other. Meanwhile, in Leinster, Dublin, Kildare, Louth, and Offaly will join at the quarter-final stage after all four reached last season's semi-finals.
The draws will be broadcast live on Saturday afternoon.
