Here are fourteen moments to celebrate the return of the man who wore number 14 throughout his career and is widely regarded as Donegal's greatest player

2013: Ireland Rules and more club success 

At 24, this was the Donegal man’s third Test for Ireland in the International Series, but this time he was captain. 

Ireland eventually won the series, but the most astonishing thing regarding that event was that the Donegal County Board decided not to move the date of their club football final to accommodate Murphy who had to play the first Test against Australia and a county final with his club Glenswilly on the same weekend. 

It failed to knock the Donegal captain who travelled home that day to put in a Man of the Match performance for his club against Killybegs in what was the largest victory in the history of a Donegal County final. 

Murphy had now secured his second of three Dr Maguire Cups.
