Here are fourteen moments to celebrate the return of the man who wore number 14 throughout his career and is widely regarded as Donegal's greatest player

2018: Back as Kings of Ulster 

By this stage, Murphy was undoubtably one of the best players in the country. Three years after 2014 proved little in terms of silverware but that changed when a new team under the leadership of Declan Bonner brought Murphy a fourth Ulster title. 

With age, his performances failed to dwindle. One that many cannot forget was his superb masterclass when Donegal defeated Roscommon by 0-20 to 0-13 in the Super 8s. 

The Glenswilly man scored nine points in an outstanding individual display with five of those coming from play with then Roscommon boss Kevin McStay describing the Donegal skipper as a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ player.
