Barry Ward is once again the Donegal minor football boss for 2025
Donegal GAA has confirmed its managerial appointments for next season following Monday night’s sitting of county committee in Convoy.
DonegalLive had already revealed at the weekend that Gary Boyle will be the new Donegal U-20 football team boss for 2025.
And at November’s rearranged county board meeting this week, the Naomh Muire native was officially unveiled.
Boyle, who will have Killybegs’ Shay Murrin as part of his coaching staff, takes over from Shaun Paul Barrett.
Barrett and Donegal were unfortunate to miss out on an Ulster final spot in 2023 when Derry struck late to edge matters 1-12 to 0-14 in Ballybofey.

Meanwhile, recent reports that Barry Ward had stepped away as Donegal minor boss were well wide of the mark.
And the Aodh Ruadh man was also ratified on Monday night, for a second term, in charge of the the Donegal U-17s.
The Ballyshannon native guided the minors to the Ulster semi-final last May where they were defeated by Aidan O'Rourke's Armagh in Ballyshannon on a 2-8 to 1-7 scoreline.
