Ciaran McCaughey and Barry McGowan will take charge in 2025
Realt na Mara GAA has announced the appointment of Ciaran McCaughey and Barry McGowan as the joint management team for the club’s senior squad for the 2025 season, taking over from Niall Dunne who leaves the role after one year in charge.
Both McCaughey and McGowan bring a wealth of experience and dedication to their new roles, having served the club with distinction on the playing field for many years.
The Seasiders were relegated to Division 2 after only landing one victory in the league, while they were also eliminated from the Intermediate football championship at the quarter-final stages after losing out to finalist Naomh Columba who hit three goals past the Bundoran side on a 3-6 to 1-7 win.
The club expressed its confidence in their leadership and extended best wishes for the season ahead.
Realt na Mara supporters are looking forward to the 2025 campaign, eager to see the impact of McCaughey and McGowan’s vision for the team.
