Abbey Vocational School’s MacRory cup quarter-final postponed

Abbey Vocational School's game against St Colman's is now postponed

The Danske Bank MacRory Cup quarter-final clash between Abbey Vocational School and St Colman’s College, Newry, has now been postponed.

The game, originally scheduled for Wednesday, January 8, at 5pm in Convoy, will be rescheduled, with fixture details to be confirmed shortly.

The organisers have assured fans that all tickets purchased for the original match will remain valid for the new date.

The Abbey Vocational School from Donegal Town and SouthWest Donegal which is made up of Colaiste Na Carraige, St Catherine’s VS, Killybegs, St Columba’s Comprehensive, Glenties, Pobalscoil Na Rosann, and Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair, are both aiming to make their mark in the prestigious MacRory Cup competition.

A potential semi-final awaits the winner of this match, with a likely clash against the victor of SouthWest Donegal and Omagh CBS — provided the competition format avoids repeat pairings.

As of now, SouthWest Donegal’s match against Omagh CBS is still going ahead as normal in Healy Park Omagh on Friday, January 10, at 7.30pm.
