Dublin manager Dessie Farrell is a first cousin of Ireland international Seamus Coleman and has often cited Donegal as his second home, but there are more individuals that tie Donegal to the capital

Michael Darragh MacAuley: The 2013 Football of the Year might be as blue as they come but that doesn’t mean he is somehow linked with Donegal.

His father Michael is a native of Lettermacaward and passed away in 2012, but not before seeing two extraordinary events, his son lifting the All-Ireland football championship in 2011, the Dubs first in 16 years, and then the following season, his native Donegal winning only their second Sam Maguire Cup in 2012.
