Gary Duffy presents the pennant to visiting boss Gerard Crossan.
Buncrana Hearts presented a specially commissioned pennant to Carn FC at the weekend in memory of their former player, the late Tiernan Doherty Kelly.
The 18-year-old - who was also a talented Gaelic footballer with CLG Charn Domhaigh - died in a tragic road accident back in December.
And prior to Sunday’s Donegal Signs Cup clash at Castle Park, which Carn won 2-1 thanks to goals from Callum Kelly and Cian Burke, home boss Gary Duffy presented the pennant to visiting boss Gerard Crossan.
“The inscription on it read: “Everyone associated with Buncrana Hearts FC were saddened to hearse of the recent passing of Tiernan Doherty Kelly.
“The club send heartfelt condolences to Tiernan’s family, friends and everyone at Carndonagh FC”.
