Seven things: The takeaway from Donegal's victory over Armagh on Sunday

Donegal put in arguably their best performance of 2025 to date on Sunday afternoon when they ran in a 0-21 to 1-10 win over Armagh and left plenty of reasons for positivity going forward

Donegal have opened 2025 with wins over the last three All-Ireland champions, with Sunday’s win following on from the 0-23 to 1-18 victory over Kerry in Killarney and the 0-20 to 0-16 success against Dublin. That means six points from six and the perceived safety mark. No team since Cork, who had a score difference of -16, in 2016 have been relegated with that haul.
