Donegal New York Gaelic Football Club has proudly named St Eunan's man Peter McEniff as their 2024 Player of the Year.
The Letterkenny native began his football journey with the St Eunan's club winning county titles at minor and U-21 level before winning the Donegal Senior Football Championship in 2021.
McEniff later relocated to the United States, where he continued his passion for Gaelic football with Donegal GFC New York.

Reflecting on his time with the club, he remarked: "I really enjoyed playing football for Donegal GFC NY this past year. We had a very strong campaign, just coming up short in the semi-final. We had a strong knit and knew when to enjoy ourselves also."
Looking ahead, McEniff is optimistic about the team's prospects.
"Having not lost many of our squad for the year ahead and with plans in place to bring in some new additions, I'd be hoping we can go one step further and get to a championship final and bring it home!
"I am delighted to accept the award of Donegal NY GFC Player of the Year for 2024."
