Towney is one of the most picturesque in the country and it formed part of the computer-generated backdrop for the GAA highlights show

Did you notice the Donegal club ground on the RTE League Sunday set last night?

Some of you would've noticed the backdrop to the set on RTE's League Sunday last night.

The show, which showed highlights packages from the opening weekend of the Allianz Football League, as well the All-Ireland club semi-finals and the currentaccount.ie All-Ireland Ladies Senior Club was presented by Joanne Cantwell. 

In the background, there was a computer-generated set, which showed Croke Park and, on closer inspection, containing a floodlit Towney, the home of Kilcar GAA club.


Former Kerry footballer Pat Spillane, Armagh's Oisin McConville and Dublin's five-time All-Ireland winner Noelle Healy as studio guests.
