John McNulty is the man entrusted with continuing Aodh Ruadh's progress in recent seasons
Aodh Ruadh have tonight ratified John McNulty as the man to take charge of their seniors for the coming year.
McNulty took Kilcar to the 2020 Donegal SFC final, where they lost the rescheduled final last August to Naomh Conaill on penalties in his second spell at his local club.
In-between times, he guided St Naul's to a first ever All Ireland Junior Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta title in 2017 in Mayo.
The Donegal champions overcame hosts Tourmakeady on a 2-14 to 2-8 scoreline. McNulty also took Donegal to All-Ireland Masters Shield success.
Under predecessor Barry Ward, Aodh Ruadh won the 2020 Donegal IFC crown and last year, topped Division 2 of the All-County Football League and reached the quarter-finals of the Donegal SFC, in their first appearance in the competition since 2010.
