Goals the killer as LyIT hurlers lose to UU, Coleraine

Letterkenny Institute of Technology hurlers lost out to Ulster University, Coleraine in the Fergal Maher Championship on Monday evening at the Donegal GAA Centre in Convoy.

Two early goals from UU rocked the LyIT men.

Eoin Campbell clipped eleven points and Ryan Hilferty led the way from centre field.

Stand-in goalkeeper Oisin Marley performed admirably with a series of strong saves to keep LyIT in touch.

However, UU found their goal touch again in the second half and they won by four points.
