Donegal GAA will hold their first monthly County Committee meeting in the Donegal GAA Centre on Wednesday next, in what will be an historic occasion.

County Committee meetings have been held by zoom ever since Covid-19 hit the country. Prior to Covid, meetings were held in the Villa Rose Hotel in Ballybofey. Two County Conventions have also been held by zoom.

Now on Wednesday of next week, the auditorium in the GAA Centre in Convoy will host delegates for the very first time.

The meeting has a number of key decisions to make including a vote for the vacant Referees' Administration post, which is being contested by two Bundoran representatives, Pat Walsh and Eugene McHale. The post became vacant after Michelle Bennett stepped down last month.

A number of other sub-committees have to be ratified as well as normal monthly business.
