LyIT overcame QUB by three points on Tuesday night at The Dub.
Goals by Julie Trearty and Nadine Friel helped propel LyIT to an impressive win.
They were 1-2 to 0-0 in front at the break and Katy Herron’s team had to withstand a strong QUB comeback in the closing stages.
LyIT have a semi-final to look forward to in two weeks’ time.
