The Donegal minor ladies panel
For the Donegal Minor ladies, Saturday’s home fixture against Tyrone has taken on added significance following their opening day defeat in Cavan at the beginning of the month.
Francie Martin’s side really need to bounce back with a win at Pairc Taobhoige in Glenfin. They will be boosted by last weekend’s good performance when they beat Derry in Owenbeg in a challenge game.
The Donegal team will include senior panel members Codie Walsh and Jodie McFadden. Walsh, who plays at half-forward, came on as a substitute for her senior Donegal debut in last Sunday’s win over Westmeath.
Donegal also have fixtures to come against Monaghan (a) and Antrim (h). Saturday’s game in Glenfin throws-in at 2pm.
