Harden on song for Naomh Muire against Naomh Padraig, Uisce Chaoin at The Banks

Naomh Muire remain hot on the heels of  the league leaders, Burt, following Saturday evening’s six point win over Naomh Padraig, at the Banks. 

Naomh Muire  (Lower Rosses) 1-13 

Naomh Padraig, Uisce Chaoin 1-7 

Veteran Harry Harden rolled back the clock with a vintage performance of dead ball kicking. In the end he finished the game with seven points. They remain in second place in the league just two points adrift of Burt. 

Shaun Burns scored the goal for Danny O’Donnell’s men.

Shaun Curran netted the goal and Johnny Toye posted three points for the Inishowen men who have drifted out of the relegation race in recent weeks.  

Naomh Muire scorers:  Harry Harden 0-7,  Shaun Burns 1-0, Joey Gillespie 0-3, Daniel Devlin 0-2,  Paddy McCafferty 0-1.

Naomh Padraig scorers: Johnny Toye 0-3, Shaun Curran 1-0, Caolan McColgan 0-1, Joe McCauley 0-1, Cormac McColgan 0-1, Rory Hirrell 0-1.
