This weekend’s round two qualifier against Armagh will mark important milestones for three Donegal players.
Captain Michael Murphy is poised to make his 77th Championship appearance for Donegal.
If Murphy plays and Neil McGee doesn’t feature, the Glenswilly man will go level at the top of Donegal’s Championship appearances list.
Patrick McBrearty will line out for the 60th time in Championship football. The Kilcar man made his debut while still a minor in 2011.
Ryan McHugh has played 49 times for Donegal in the Championship and is expected to make that 50 this weekend.
McHugh has an unbroken stint in Championship games, the sequence stretching back to his debut against Down in 2013.
