Donegal GAA’s Competitions Controls Committee (CCC) have announced arrangements for some upcoming club championship matches.

The rearranged Donegal SFC semi-final between St Eunan’s and Kilcar will be played on Saturday next, October 1, at 7.30pm in Sean MacCumhaill Park.

The game, was due to take place this weekend, was postponed following the tragic deaths of Patrick Devenney and his daughter Margaret Sullivan, the father and sister of former St Eunan’s player Brendan Devenney.

The Senior B semi-final between St Eunan’s and Gaoth Dobhair will be played on October 1 at 6pm in Sean MacCumhaill Park.

The CCC have confirmed that the Donegal SFC final will be played on Sunday, October 9, as originally planned.

There had been suggestions that the final could be pushed back a week, but the CCC have decided to retain the original date for the showpiece.

The Donegal IFC final between Naomh Columba and Dungloe will be played at O’Donnell Park on October 1 at 2.30pm. That game will be preceded by the Intermediate B final between Naomh Columba and St Mary’s, Convoy, at 12.30pm.
