Jimmy White of Killybegs will be in charge of the big championship clash in Donegal next weekend when Kilcar and Glenswilly clash in the quarter-final of the RTE Raidio na Gaeltachta senior championship.

The game takes place in Ballybofey on Sunday next with a 2.30 p.m. throw-in. The sides have already met this year in the championship with Kilcar prevailing by just one point in Towney. Jimmy White was also in charge of that game.

Kilcar went on to top the group with Glenswilly qualifying in second place.

The referee appointments for the other quarter-finals have also been made. Michael McShane of Kilcar will take charge of the quarter-final between St. Eunan’s and Malin in Buncrana at 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Also on Saturday at 8 p.m. in Convoy, Martin Coll will take charge of the Killybegs against MacCumhaill’s.

The other game, between Gaoth Dobhair and Ardara on Sunday evening in O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny at 6 p.m. will have Malin’s Shaun McLaughlin as referee.
