Sadness as Annagry’s Annie O’Donnell passes away at the age of 103

Annagry’s Annie O’Donnell passes away at the age of 103

Annie’s funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 11 am in St Patrick’s Church, Meenaweal, with interment afterwards in Magheragallon cemetery

Annagry’s Annie O’Donnell has passed away at the age of 103. 

Annie, born on December 4, 1921, was the eldest in a family of seven and passed away on Sunday. Originally from Culacrick, Annagry, in her later years, she resided in Knockastollar, Bunbeg. 

Annie is predeceased by her husband Eoghan, son PJ, sisters Bridget and Rosha and brothers Eddie, Danny and John.  She will be sadly missed by her daughter Una, sons, Connie, Seán & Eamonn, sister Sally Roarty, daughter-in-law Maighread, grandchildren; Deirdre, Conall, Eoghan, Colm and Feidhlim, great grandchildren; Tarlach, Ultán, Conor & Aidan, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

The wake will take place on Monday from 1pm to 8pm and then, Tuesday from 12pm until 8pm. The rosary will be held nightly at 8pm with the house private afterwards and on the morning of the funeral.

Annie’s funeral mass will take place on Wednesday at 11 am in St Patrick’s Church, Meenaweal, with interment afterwards in Magheragallon cemetery. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live on Kieran Roarty Funeral Director’s Facebook page and on the church webcam.
