The R262-5 Frosses to Glenties road was due to reopen on Friday, September 19
Donegal County Council has extended the full closure of the Frosses to Glenties road for another week.
The R262-5 Frosses to Glenties Road was due to reopen on Friday, September 19 with the road being partially closed from 8am to 6pm daily on Monday, September 22, until Friday, September 26.

The council has said that due to “unprecedented levels of rainfall”, a full road closure will now remain in place through the weekend and next week until Friday, September 26 at 6pm.
The local authority has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
