The N56 Portnablagh - Dunfanaghy connecting the locations which are approximately 3km apart
A public consultation will be held on the N56 Portnablagh-Dunfanaghy project.
The consultation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, from 3:30pm until 8pm in the Ozanam Community Centre, Dunfanaghy (F92 D86T).
The project is currently in the final stages of Phase 3: Design and Environmental Evaluation and in preparation for Phase 4 (Statutory Processes), Donegal County Council will be hosting a Public Consultation to present the proposed design and gather feedback from the community.
Local Councillor Michael McClafferty said this is “a major milestone in a project I’ve been pushing hard to advance. I’d encourage anyone interested in the future of this route to come along, view the plans, and share your views. I am proud to see this important project progressing, and grateful to everyone involved in getting it to this stage.
“It has been ongoing for a number of years, but it's still under planning; it's in the process. We hope, we hope eventually, not too distant future, that we'll be able to source funding and get the scheme done.”
