Photographer Karl Harold presenting a cheque to Bluestack Special Needs Foundation
A kind-hearted man, Karl Harold, has donated funds to charity.
Karl has made two cheque presentations to the Bluestack Special Needs Foundation, fundraising through his photography exhibitions.
Originally from Dublin, Karl moved to Donegal in 2001 and resides in Creeslough. Passionate about photography, Karl loves to capture the beauty of Donegal.
Unfortunately, after being diagnosed with bladder cancer, Karl had to sell his photography equipment. After setting up a GoFundMe and reaching out to DonegalLive to promote it, Karl was able to purchase a new camera and continue pursuing his passion for photography.

“I was able to raise the money to buy the camera through GoFundMe and your help,” Karl tells DonegalLive. “Fast forward and countless photographs later. This year I've had two Donegal photo exhibitions, both of which all proceeds raised were donated to two Donegal charities.”

Karl has given back to the community, hosting exhibitions and donating the funds to the Donegal Bluestacks Foundation. Additionally, he has created a 2026 calendar with all proceeds going to the same charity.
