Cloughaneely Golf Club has been left “very disappointed” after recent incidents of dog fouling in their new bunkers.

Bunker upgrade works are currently nearing completion at Cloughaneely Golf Club, just outside Falcarragh. However, the club has been left frustrated by the incidents and have issued a reminder that bunkers are not to be used during upgrade works.

“We are very disappointed to see that several of the new bunkers have been dug up and soiled by dogs, and we remind all that the course is for members only,” said a spokesperson for Cloughaneely Golf Club.

“We kindly ask that members of the public keep their dogs on a leash when doing the park run to prevent the golf course being damaged.”
