On episode one of ‘Healing Sounds with Malachi Cush’ Donegal broadcaster and hotelier Noel Cunningham, shares his deeply personal experience of alcohol dependency.

 Noel explains to presenter Malachi Cush how the experience has shaped his life and his transformative first visit to Alcoholics Anonymous, and he guides us through the music that accompanied him on his journey to healing and recovery.

The show airs this Friday August 16 at 10pm. The Tyrone singer songwriter, Malachi returns following a hugely successful debut season last year which captured the hearts of the many thousands of listeners who resonated with the emotional stories shared by a range of well known faces from across the island.

This month, in Malachi’s new powerful six part series, he is joined in the studio by a diverse selection of guests for poignant conversations and music with meaning, as they open up their hearts to him on Healing Sounds to express their own experiences of dealing with life’s various challenges including grief, loss and tragedy, alongside the joy of their journey of healing.

“It was a real joy for me to sit down and talk with my guests to record this series and I appreciated how they all immersed themselves in their interviews, breaking down barriers and baring their souls to speak with openness and honesty about such personal experiences of trauma, sorrow, loss and picking up the pieces to face the road ahead” says Malachi Cush when describing the new season of the show.
