A horse similar to this one was stolen from Muff between May 31 and June 1.
Gardaí are appealing for information in relation to the recent theft of a horse in the Muff area.
The animal, a Boulonnais horse, was taken from a field at Ture, Muff between 5pm on Saturday, May 31 and 10am on Sunday, June 1.
Members of the public are being advised to be on the lookout for the animal and report anyone attempting to sell it.
The horse in question is male and it’s white in colour. The animal is three-years old, sixteen hands in height, and it has an anchor tattoo/brand on its neck.

“We appeal to anyone who may have observed suspicious vehicles or activity in the area between those dates to get in touch with us,” a Garda spokesperson has urged.
“Should anyone have any information in relation to the whereabouts of the horse or should anyone come across it for sale, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Buncrana on 07493 20540,” they added.
